Yomken.com (owned and managed by Istebdaa’) is the leading MENA CrowdSolving platform specialized in crowdsourcing R&D to provide affordable, accessible and innovative solutions for the most pressing industrial, environmental and societal challenges. These challenges are provided by “Solution Seekers” ranging from international organizations to small-scale farmers.

Yomken.com is currently looking for a “Program Manager” who will have the following responsibilities:

• Planning and supervising the implementation of activities of various Yomken.com projects in accordance with operational plan and timeline with the support of the team and regularly providing projects progress reports to the General Manager;

• Managing projects team by planning, organizing, and managing their tasks, overseeing their performance and offering support and guidance when needed; 

• Overseeing and representing Yomken.com in the contracting process with solutions seekers and innovators; 

• Overseeing monitoring and evaluation of the program ensuring achievement of deliverables and indicators;

• Managing all donor requirements including the preparation of all technical and financial reports specified; 

• Handling program finances and budgeting;

• Conducting field visits as necessary to monitor solutions implementation and delivery;

• Supporting the General Manager to build and maintain a network of partners and stakeholders including international development organizations, government, private sector & NGOs;

We are looking for someone with:

• Higher education degree (preferably a Masters Degree) in Economics, Business, Management, Finance, Engineering or other related fields;

• A working experience of 5 to 7 years, preferably with at least 1 year in a managerial position;

• Experience in report writing and developing program documents and work plans;

• Experience in managing program budgets and maintaining financial control;

• Exceptional leadership, communication and organizational skills;

• Capable of multitasking, prioritizing and dealing with multiple stakeholders

• High interest in the fields of innovation and technology for development;

• Very Good knowledge of the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Egypt;

• Excellent command of spoken and written Arabic and English, French is a plus
