it considers the feasibility and workshops are held to train farmers on the innovative preserving technique. 

the challenge:

the innovation was a response to Aswan Dates Preservation challenge, it is to find alternative way(s), tools or systems to preserving and storing Aswan dates to extend its shelf-life beyond one year and thus make it available in the markets all year round increasing its competitive advantage.
