Ashraf Fisha inherited this profession from his father. He started helping out his father since he was seven years old in their small plastic factory in Manshiet Nasser. He produces different quality plastic products such as power strips and kitchen mixers. People used to call him Fisha (electric plug in Arabic) for his specialization in the electrical gadgets.
Like other craftsmen in Egypt, Fisha is challenged by the Chinese products that inundated the Egyptian market. Almost anyone can design a plastic product if he’s aware of the injection molding process and has design skills. Fisha’s factory uses the injection molding process to develop consumer products with various sizes. He needs creative product designs from bright designers in order to compete again in the market. If you have a product concept that you can work on it with Mr. Fisha and then crowdfunding it on Yomken… then, submit your solution now!He always tends towards innovation and trying new things. He earlier had a lot of ideas but he always was faced by the limited financial support. Therefore, Mr. Fisha is looking for new and original ideas of products where he can use his skill in electrical gadgets and compete with the growing number of Chinese products.
By submitting your product concept, it will be reviewed by Yomken’s team and if approved, we will put you in touch with Mr. Fisha in order to come up with the first prototype. Then it can be crowdfunded and you will gain a significant share of the profit (around 40% of the net profits).
The chosen problem solver will get his product idea will be featured on Yomken to be crowdfunded and transformed from just a concept to a real product. The problem solver will also get 40% of the profit-shares.
